The model

You run the campus. We power it completely.

A GV Academy campus is a physical learning space where local students come to study IT, free of charge. You provide the location — workspace, computers, and an open-door culture. We provide everything else: the curriculum, the digital platform, the brand, the methodology, the employer relationships, and the ongoing training for your staff.

Your campus operates under the GV Academy name and benefits from our national reputation, employer network, and ten-year track record. Local students get access to world-class education. Your region gets an IT talent pipeline.

Training tracks

Your campus offers all 10 specialisation tracks

Duration: 1.5–2 years
The flagship track. Students go from zero to mid-level software engineer through a project-based curriculum covering C, algorithms, data structures, system programming, web development, and collaborative software delivery. No prior experience required.
Duration: 6–12 months
Students master Linux administration, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability. Projects mirror real-world DevOps scenarios from cloud-native companies, delivering engineers ready to own production systems.
Duration: 6–12 months
Python, statistics, ML pipelines, and data storytelling — built around real datasets and business problems. Graduates can clean, analyse, model, and present data insights, and are comfortable deploying ML models to production.
Duration: 6–12 months
Threat modelling, secure coding, network security, penetration testing basics, and incident response. Students learn to think like an attacker and defend like an engineer — graduating ready to join security teams at organisations of any size.
Duration: 6–12 months
User research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and visual design systems. Students work on real products — not hypothetical briefs — and build portfolios that get them hired by product companies and digital agencies.
Duration: 6–12 months
Manual and automated testing, test planning, bug reporting, and CI/CD integration. Students graduate with a solid understanding of quality practices and hands-on experience with the tools used in modern engineering teams.
Duration: 6–12 months
Discovery, ideation, prioritisation, metrics, and go-to-market strategy — all applied to real product scenarios. Students experience the full lifecycle of taking a product from idea to launch, working with cross-functional simulated teams.
Duration: 6–12 months
Agile and Scrum frameworks, stakeholder management, planning, risk assessment, and delivery execution — applied to real project scenarios. Graduates are comfortable managing technical projects in fast-moving engineering environments.
Duration: 6–12 months
Requirements elicitation, process modelling, system analysis, and documentation. Students learn to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions — graduating ready to work as business or systems analysts in enterprise and product companies.
Duration: 6–12 months
Biology, programming, and computational analysis — converging at the intersection of life science and software. Students tackle real genomics, proteomics, and clinical data challenges, graduating into a fast-growing interdisciplinary field.

On-site
Our methodology

Your campus runs on a methodology proven across thousands of students

01
No lectures — only projects
Students learn by doing. Every skill is acquired by completing a real project, not by attending a class. The campus space is where they come to work, not to listen.
02
Peer-to-peer review builds real skills
Every project is reviewed by a fellow student before it's accepted. Students learn to give and receive structured feedback — a critical professional skill that most graduates never develop before their first job.
03
Game mechanics drive motivation
XP, levels, leaderboards, and internal currency keep students engaged over months and years. The platform makes progress feel tangible and rewarding — students compete with themselves as much as with each other.
04
24/7 open campus creates community
Our campuses never close. Students work at 3am if they need to. The physical space becomes the heartbeat of your local IT community — the place where future developers, designers, and engineers meet.

Answers to questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Partnership
Operations

Do I need prior experience in education to open a campus?

No. Most of our campus partners come from business, regional development, or community backgrounds — not education. GV Academy provides all the curriculum, methodology, and training you need. What matters is your commitment to the local IT community and your ability to run a well-organised space.

What are the financial terms of the partnership?

The financial model is discussed individually during the discovery stage. Costs vary depending on the city, the size of the campus, and the local context. In all cases, education remains free for students — no tuition is ever charged. Contact us to discuss the specifics for your region.

How large does the campus space need to be?

A minimum of 200 square metres is required for a standard campus. The space should accommodate at least 50 workstations, a common area, and a small meeting/review room. It must be accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our setup guide provides full technical specifications.

Can I open a campus in a city that already has one?

In most cities, yes — demand for places significantly exceeds supply. We assess each application on the basis of local demand, distance from existing campuses, and the strength of the proposed location. Multiple campuses in the same city are possible for large urban areas.

How many staff will I need to operate the campus?

A minimum team of 3–5 people is typical for a campus of 100–150 students: a campus director, one or two community coordinators, and a technical support person. As the campus grows, so does the team. GV Academy provides guidance on team structure and hiring criteria.

How long does it take to open after signing the agreement?

On average, 2–4 months from signing to opening day, depending on the state of your space and how quickly staff training can be completed. We've had campuses open in 6 weeks and others that took 6 months — the timeline is driven by your readiness, not ours.

Does GV Academy help with student recruitment?

Yes. GV Academy runs national enrollment campaigns and directs applicants from your region to your campus. We also provide you with marketing materials, social media content, and PR support so you can run local recruitment in parallel. Demand is typically very strong from day one.

What ongoing support does GV Academy provide after opening?

Your dedicated partner success manager stays in contact throughout the partnership. You get access to a partner community with all other campus operators, regular methodology updates, platform improvements, curriculum additions, and quarterly review calls with the GV Academy team. You're joining a network, not just signing a contract.
