Training from 6 months to 2 years

Training in the development track takes 1.5 to 2 years. For tracks including infrastructure engineer (DevOps), site reliability engineer (SRE), data scientist, test engineer (QA), business and systems analyst (BA/SA), bioinformatics, UI/UX design, and project management — from 6 to 12 months.

Internship at an IT company

Work on real tasks and get feedback from IT leaders. The GV Academy platform includes a career track that helps prepare for an internship.

Peer-to-peer approach
Complete tasks, review other participants' projects and exchange knowledge. Learn without lectures or schedules.
Modern campus

GV Academy campuses are open 24/7 and 365 days a year. They have everything you need for effective learning: workstations, computers, and game rooms to relax.

We help unlock potential and prepare you for a successful career in IT

At GV Academy participants simultaneously develop hard and soft skills: in groups and independently they complete projects from major IT companies, conduct peer reviews and code reviews, and learn to give and receive feedback.

Training Program

In the main program you can choose one of the tracks

From idea to product with AI
You will quickly build a product using modern tools and AI assistants. You will go from idea to a minimum viable product, first users, and basic economics — experiencing what it feels like to be a product manager.
User Research
You will understand what types of research exist and when they are needed. You will practice conducting problem interviews, running surveys, building customer journey maps, and formulating data-driven hypotheses that save the product time and money.
Product design
You will learn to work with user experience and interface design, understand user journeys, tasks, and stories. You will formulate user tasks, build a simple screen prototype, and improve it after quick tests.
Development and value delivery
You will understand how the product development cycle works and how a product manager helps the team deliver value. You will decompose a new feature into tasks, prioritize them, build a roadmap, and write requirements for the team.
Quick hypothesis testing
You will learn how to test ideas without spending months on development. You will formulate and prioritize hypotheses, describe them, build a minimal prototype, and plan a split test to get clear results.
Monetization and Economics
You will understand how a product earns money and how different monetization models affect metrics. Using a real example, you will calculate unit economics, compare monetization scenarios, and plan the transition from an internal solution to a market product.
Marketing and Acquisition
You will look at the product from a marketing perspective: from the acquisition funnel to the first sales. You will learn to analyze channels, calculate basic marketing metrics, and come up with simple growth hypotheses that can be tested on almost no budget.
Analytics and metrics
You will learn to build a healthy product metrics tree, identify useful indicators, calculate conversion and funnels, choose the main growth metric, and build a dashboard that shows where the product loses users.

Career Track

A career track is a set of projects that prepare you for successful employment. While preparing for internships and corporate work, participants practice writing resumes and passing interviews

Internship
Internship is a mandatory educational project. Participants find an IT company for a 3-month placement themselves, but the school will help if needed. This is when most participants receive their first job offer.

Answers to questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Admission
Education

Are there age restrictions?

Anyone aged 18+ can apply to the core program. There is no upper age limit. The Selection Pool can be completed even earlier — from age 17 with written parental permission.

How many times can you apply?

Registration with an email address is only possible once. After completing the selection games, the number of attempts to apply for the pool is unlimited.

What are the admission requirements?

Anyone can apply to GV Academy. We don't look at diplomas, experience, or language skills. Play the game, show yourself at the pool — and join the main wave of learning!

What document do participants receive upon completing GV Academy?

Our graduates will receive a non-state certificate of completion from GV Academy.

Is it required to be well-versed in computer technology to apply to GV Academy?

No, you can start from scratch. The experience of our graduates shows that determined participants quickly catch up with those who already had programming experience.

Can citizens of other countries study here?

Yes. We accept participants of any nationality, but you will need to handle visa matters yourself.

What advice do you have for successfully completing the selection pool?

You definitely won't need to study textbooks or cram. We use a different methodology. Set aside plenty of time and try to distribute the workload comfortably. There will be many projects — the main thing is not to forget to rest.

Can I participate in the selection intensive if I am also studying or working?

You can, but combining it will be difficult. The Pool (Intensive) is a challenging stage that lasts 14 days and requires a lot of effort to complete the selection projects. We recommend taking time off from work, studies, and other commitments.

Why was the pool shortened from 26 to 14 days?

The selection stage requires full immersion and presence at the campus, but not everyone can take a long leave of absence from work or studies. We do everything to help as many people as possible get an IT education — freeing yourself from other commitments for two weeks is very achievable.

Does the shorter pool include all the necessary projects?

Of course, we didn't just shorten the intensive — we rethought the entire process. Participants of the 14-day pool will complete seven individual projects, two group projects, and two exams.
